God Almighty Allah declares that all power belongs to Him only. He does whatever He wanted. He declares<If there were a Qur-an (a speech) with which mountains were moved, or the earth were cloven asunder, or the dead were made to speak, (this would be the one)! But truly, the command is with Allah in all things! Do not the Believers know, that, had Allah (so) willed, He could have guided all mankind (to the Right)?
But the Unbelievers,- never will disaster cease to seize them for their (ill) deeds, or to settle close to their homes, until the promise of Allah come to pass, for , verily, Allah will not fail in His Promise> Holy Qur-an:
Ch. # 13: Verse #31.
<Whatever beings there are in the heavens and the earth do prostrate themselves to Allah-willy nilly: So do their shadows in the mornings and evenings>13:15.
Why the Day of Judgment ?:
God (Allah)
answers:<That Allah may requite each soul according to its deserts
(good or evil acts or earnings); And verily Allah is swift in calling to
account>14:51.
<Did ye then think that We had created you in jest, and that ye would not be brought back to Us (for account)? Therefore Exalted be Allah, the King, the Reality: There is no god but He, The Lord of the Throne of Honor!> 23:115-116.
Almighty Allah in His Book Holy Qur-an and His Final Prophet Muhammad in his Hadith have informed us that the Last day of the Universe will be a Friday or on Friday God Almighty Allah will end the worlds (Universe).
Just Test this: On any Friday morning, and other week days you can keep a watch over your domestic animals and pet birds. See how they behave differently from other days (before sunrise and after). Can you notice any differences in their behavior during Fridays and other days. Except man and genie, all animals and other creatures, Angels ... are fearful of that Terrible event. But man and genie live the life of forgetfulness and negligence. They are created for a test. So they live in 'Ghaflah' or being unaware of Truth.
In Japan, people believe that when the animals start behaving in an abnormal way, they understand that there is going to be an earthquake. Did you ever think, why do the animals behave so? Because, the animals can see the world that is hidden from us. When God wants to punish people by any calamity, He sends special Angels for this job. They see them and are frightened about the danger that is going to come upon them. Allah knows the Best.

When the Earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion,
and the Earth throws up her burdens (from within),
And man cries (distressed); 'What is the matter with her?'-
On that Day will she declare her tidings:
For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration on that Day.....

God
saved those who had
strong faith in Him and were His Obedient Servants, who never forgot to
worship Him, thank Him and Beg for His Forgiveness.
One of them
was Prophet Ibrahim or Abraham who preached God's Religion -
Al Islam
(surrendering to God's Will without
any preconditions) in Babylon or
Iraq. The king and the People, including Ibrahim's father were
idolaters. Instead of listening and heeding his call for good future
and towards attaining God's Rewards, they harassed him and made his life
difficult until they finally put him into a Great Fire. But by the
Command of Almighty Allah, the fire touched him not nor could burn
him. It was like a garden of paradise for
him.
He enjoyed this experience while his enemies thought he had been burnt to ashes. He left Iraq for Makkah after this miraculous event and built there Ka'ba for the worship of Almighty Allah. Now if you want the sure security and protection, then follow the example of the Prophets, especially Prophet Ibrahim -peace be upon him and Muhammad-peace be upon him.
Call people unto God's path (Al-Islam) and work hard to get God's Blessings and be patient with complete trust in Allah Alone. Trusting any other powers of the world is as fragile as the house of a spider even though they seem to be having money, military, bombs, aero planes etc. For God Almighty Allah, it is not difficult to destroy all their powers in a few seconds. Because He Created all for a test and He Himself has given them a fixed period to live, He will leave His rope free and long for them to the extent He wants.
Ultimately, they will have to die and after death God's Decree against them, comes into effect by God's will; like death which must arrive exactly at the fixed time.
The happy people: <But he who works deeds of righteousness, and has faith will have no fear of harm nor of any curtailment (of what is his due)> 20:112.
What happens when the Day of Judgment comes into effect?:-
<When the sun (with it's spacious light is folded up; When the stars fall, losing their lustre; When the mountains vanish (like a mirage); When the she-camels, ten months with young, are left untended; When the wild beasts are herded together ( in human habitations); When the oceans boil over with a swell; When the souls are sorted out, (being joined, like with like); When the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned-for what crime she was killed; When the scrolls are laid open; When the sky is unveiled; When the Blazing Fire is kindled to fierce heat; And when the Garden is brought near;- (Then) shall each soul know what it has put forward.....Verily this is no less than a Message to (all) the worlds>81: 1-14 & 27.
Attention All ladies and Gentlemen, Brothers and Sisters, Young and Old, Grandmas and Grandpas! Let us read what God has informed us about the Great Earthquake which will strike all mankind and the universe on a Friday, and that will be the Last Day of the whole Creation. What is the Great Earthquake?
God informs
us in His Final Book Al-Qur'an as follows: <When the Earth is shaken to her (utmost) convulsion, and
the Earth throws up her burdens (from within), And man cries (distressed);
'What is the matter with her?'- On that Day will she declare her
tidings: For that thy Lord will have given her inspiration, on that
Day will men proceed in groups sorted out, to be shown the deeds
that they (had done). Then shall anyone who has done an atom's
weight of good, see it! And anyone who has done an atom's weight of
evil, shall see it> Chapter 99: Verses 1-8.
<The (Day) of clamor : What is
the (Day) of clamor? And what will
explain to thee what the (Day) of clamor is? (It is) a Day whereon men
will be like moths scattered about, and the mountains will be like carded
wool. Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) heavy, will
be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. But he whose balance
(of good deeds) will be (found) light,- will have his home in a
(bottomless) pit. And what will explain to thee what this is?
(It is) a Fire blazing fiercely! Chapter 101: Verses
1-11.
In the above chapters God Almighty Allah has informed us that the worlds will be destroyed by Him on the Day of Great convulsion, and then the people are created again for the Judgment on the Resurrection Day (Judgment Day). From the Hadith Books we know that the exact day of this Greatest Event will be a Friday (morning) when people will have just started off to their usual business of the day. But the date of this Final Day (like year, month etc) is kept secret by God Almighty Allah. But the Prophecy of the events happening before this has been given in the Holy Qur'an (Words of Allah) and the Holy Hadith Books (the Record Books containing the sayings, commands, actions, approvals and disapprovals of Final Prophet Muhammad-peace be upon him).
The Helpless situation of that Day : God informs: <At length, when there comes the deafening noise,- that Day shall man flee from his own brother, and from his mother and his father, and from his wife and his children. Each one of them, that Day, will have enough concern (of his own) to make him indifferent to the others. Some faces that Day will be beaming, laughing, rejoicing. And other faces that Day will be dust-stained; Darkness will cover them: Such will be the Rejecters of Allah, the doers of iniquity> 80: 33-42.
Here the picture is painted by God about the people running away to save their own lives on the Day of Judgment followed by the condition of those people who believed Allah and Obeyed Him and His Prophets, living the life as per His Commands- will be in happiness when they are raised up for Judgment (Resurrection). The Disbelievers will be in utmost difficulty and gloomy condition without any hope nor any helper.
Now let us note down the following points: Death leads one to the Eternal world (so death can be considered as the Gateway to the Next World of permanent life). "The Grave" may be understood to be the period between physical death and immortal life, whatever may be the mode of disposal of the dead body. Whatever we say and think about the Truth of God, does not affect His system. If we say that there are creatures on the Mars, then they won't appear over there, just because we have said so and if God has created none over there! If we say that tomorrow it is going to rain, then there is no certainty in this statement. But whatever God would do is for sure and whether people dispose off the bodies of the dead in any manner, does not affect their future life in the Eternal World. The laws of that world are entirely different. So there is no meaning in gauging the things of that world from the yardstick of this world.
God informs us : <When the sky is cleft asunder; When the Stars are scattered; When the Oceans are suffered to burst forth; And when the Graves are turned upside down;- (then) shall each soul know what it hath sent forward and (what it hath) kept back. O man! what has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- Him Who Created thee, Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; In whatever form He wills, does He put thee together. Nay! but ye do reject the Judgment! ......(It will be) the Day when no soul shall have Power (to do) aught for another: for the Command, that Day, will be (wholly) with Allah>82:1-9 & 19.
God warns
us not to reject Him: God informs better :-
<The parable of those who reject their Lord is that their works are as
ashes, on which the wind blows
furiously on a tempestuous day: No power have they over aught that they
have earned: That is the straying far, far (from the goal). Don't
you see that Allah created the heavens and the earth in Truth? If He
so will, He can remove you and put (in your place) a new Creation? Nor is
that for Allah any great matter>15:18-20.
<Never think that Allah would fail His Messengers in His Promise: For Allah is Exalted in Power,-The Lord of Retribution>14:47.
<So warn mankind of the Day when the wrath will reach them: then will the wrong-doers say: "Our Lord respite us (if only) for a short term: we will answer Your Call and follow the Messengers!" "What! were you not wont to swear aforetime that you should suffer no decline?>14:44.
God informs us about the pleading of those who rejected His True Message and the reply of God to them on the Day of Judgment : <"Our Lord! Bring us out of this: if ever we return (to evil), then shall we be wrong-doers indeed!" He will say : "Be ye driven into it (with ignominy)! And speak ye not to Me!> 23: 107. They plead to be released from the permanent "Prison" of Hell. But because of their laughing and ridicule of those who believed in Allah and prayed for His Mercy, they were deprived of God's Blessings and the Heaven.
God informs us: <But ye treated them (Muslims who used to Worship and pray to Allah) with ridicule, so much so that (ridicule of) them made you forget My Message while you were laughing at them! I have rewarded them this Day for their patience and constancy: they are indeed the ones that have achieved bliss> 23:110-111.
The disbelievers do laugh at Muslims men and women when we worship Allah, do the fasting, go for Hajj, Make Jihad, Women wearing Hijab or Veil ( covering their bodies completely by a loose non-transparent garment, as per God's Command), sacrificing the animals on (the second of the only Two Islamic Festivals in a year) -Bakrid Festival (Bairam) or Eid-ul Ad'ha, men sporting beards following the model of the Prophets of God etc. The dangerous effects of this will be implemented on them on the Day of Judgment.
God warns: <O mankind! Fear your Lord! for the convulsion of the Hour (of Judgment) will be a thing terrible! The Day you shall see it, every mother giving suck shall forget her suckling-babe, and every pregnant female shall drop her load (unformed): thou shall see mankind as in a drunken riot, yet not drunk: but dreadful will be the chastisement of Allah> 22: 1-2.
